I've been to a Massage Envy before and didn't love the experience. Strong sales tactics and the massage therapist didn't quite meet expectations. However, I'm new to Kansas City and was in desperate need of a massage. The front desk staff was friendly and calm in the sales approach, definitely not overly excited and chatty like I'm used to. The massage therapist, Jesse, was absolutely amazing. I would probably go as far to say it's the best massage I've ever had. I was his last appointment of the day and expected him to be fatigued and unable to use the amount of pressure I was requesting for a deep tissue, especially the entire time. I think he actually was using more pressure towards the end and it was exactly what I needed. I can't say enough good things about him. I absolutely recommend scheduling an appointment with Jesse at Massage Envy.

This review is about both massage therapists Jesse and Carollynn!! I am so appreciative of massage therapist, Jesse! He is a gem and as equally kind, considerate, and attentive, as he is at giving incredible massages! He’s so helpful to me as I have been dealing with chronic pain since 2018. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. I know part of that is because he’s got a healing energy and that translates into the manual work he does. Thank you, Jesse! I also want to shout out to Carollynn, as I’ve been seeing her for several years. She is AMAZING!! Probably the sweetest human on planet earth, truly. She is a gift in this line of work, and she takes such thorough, exceptional care when you see her. She’s so understanding and is practically my therapist as I’m a chatty gal when I get massages. She’s been an integral part of my healing from chronic pain since I started seeing her about 3ish years ago. She creates a safe space that allows for healing and vulnerability, which i find to be particularly special about her. You won’t regret it if you book Carollynn!
